Its been a long couple of months

Hey everyone!
I'm back! Its been a long couple of months of hard work and studying but it all payed off. I am now a National Certified Master Groomer! I got a very high score on my exam and I'm so glad its done with. I just want to thank my family, friends, fans, and clients for all their support and encouragement through the whole process. Thank you for pushing me beyond what I could imagine myself. It's amazing what can happen in a year! I would not of guess that I would be on my own and as a Master Groomer. Now things can get back to normal and hopefully now I can keep you all up to date with all the cute cuties that I pamper.

Here are some fun pictures and a video of my dog Kodiak on his birthday. I made him special Kodiak Pupcakes for his 11th birtday. Enjoy!

Cairn Before and After

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter with their families and dogs! Here is a before and after picture of a Cairn Terrier I groomed name Buddy. He was such a happy boy and his tail did not stop moving!

Little Cuties!

Miss Daisy Mae is so sweet and so little. I think she is only 3lbs. I love working with the tiny toys and handle them with gentle hands. Its important to be very careful with their legs because of their knees can slip. She was such a good girl when I groomed her and I love putting bows in her top knot, too cute!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Easter with their family and pups. Don't forget to get a little Easter basket for you dog, they would love it!

Powder Puff Makeover

Bailey the Bichon got quite the makeover today. He is such a cutie and has eyes that makes your heart melt.

Nail Trims

Its important to have your dog's nails trim at least every 4 weeks. If it is put off too long serious injury can take place. Cracked or broken nails can cause a big problem and takes a long time to heal. Ingrown nails are a big problem for rear dewclaws. It creates discomfort and can distort the pad its self. Elderly dogs should have short nails. If a dog has too long of nail is can create arthritis in the feet and it can disfigure the toes to one side.

In this picture you can see that the left dewclaw is curled one and a half times around. There is a mat in the middle of the circle. The right foot has the nail gr owning into the skin.

No need for an appointment for nail trims. I'm here Tuesday-Saturday 9 to 4, come on in anytime. Nail trims cost $10 and I also can dremmel/file the nails to get them really short to for an extra $10.

Truman's Makeover

Grooming

Hey everyone! I'm back online after the Holidays. I had a beautiful Christmas surrounded with family and friends. Kodiak, my Samoyed, had a fun time opening his presents on Christmas morning. What can I say, I love the Christmas season.

But its back to work and play with the dogs. I have Saturday appointments available for the month of Jan. So call today and get in.
